has anyone here tried CLA weightloss tablets-do you think they would help?
after 3 weeks of dieting, I have only lost one pound. The only thing I can think of is that I am burning muscle mass. so, yesterday I went out and got Spirulina - a protein supplement, but the girl in the shop also recommended CLA. apparently it boosts your metabolism and makes your body burn fat instead of anything else.
Has anyone here tried it and what do you think?
oh yea, of course i would be exercising and watching what I eat. I'm just thinking, would it help the process along...
Save your money! CLA had a lot of promise when it was first brought to market but it just does not produce results.
There are only 3 supplements that have tons and tons of research behind them. They are: whey protein powder, fish oil & creatine monohydrate. ALL the rest are crap
NONE of which will speed your metabolism or burn fat, directly.
The good, old fashioned advice of:
1) A properly designed diet with sufficient protein.
2) Lifting weights - which will maintain your muscle. The more muscle you have the faster your metabolism.
3) Cardio.
In THAT order of importance.
