Can I Learn To Drive Using A Game Pad With Wheel, Pedals & Gear Stick For PC?
I want to learn to drive and i thought maybe if i buy a racing wheel with pedals (Clutch, Break & Acceleration) and a gear stick it would be lots better and easier to learn.
Would it be a good idea and also if it is a good idea what game should i buy to learn how to drive with this game pad? I thought Test Drive would be good but i don't know.
The game pad i would buy is Logitech G25 Racing Wheel.
I don't mean learning the signs, mirrors etc. I just mean how to change gear, get the car moving etc.
If there are any good driving simulations out there i would love to hear about them.
Yeah i obviously will buy driving lessons i just thought a boost would make everything allot easier.
Driving a car is really very simple, you don't need a game or simulation to learn how to drive.
It's funny, because people mention "learning" how to drive quite frequently. Unless you plan on driving a manual car, there is nothing to learn. The left pedal is stop, the right is go, you turn the car on by turning the key, and you aim it where you want to go with the wheel.
If you plan on learning to drive a manual car, the best practice is a parking lot with a hill in it (for practicing hill starts) and an older manual transmission car that you won't mess up by stalling and riding the clutch. A video game isn't going to give you an accurate sense of everyday driving, it will give you a slight and incorrect sense of race driving.
