Is taking the Green Tea Mega-T Dietary Supplement pill bad for me?
Im 14 years old and i have used them b4 2 burn belly fat. Some ingrediants are: 100mg Calcium, 250mcg of Chromium, 600 mg of Green tea leaf standardized extract, 175mg of a mix of eleuthero root extract, fo ti root, garcinia frut extract, guarana seed!
At 14 you shouldn't be taking any supplements. At the very most perhaps a multivitamin. But you should be eating healthy enough to give your body everything it needs.
Besides that, green tea is not an effective weight loss tool (regardless of what people believe). People lose weight when they start drinking it in place of pop and sugary juices because it's lower in calories of course, but it does absolutely nothing to boost your metabolism. I still recommend drinking it because it's full of antioxidants and helps build a healthy immune system, but it won't affect your weight loss.
At 14 if you're determined to lose weight, eat healthier (cut out the junk food and pop) and do something active. Join a soccer team or even going for a daily walk will make you see a change in no time.
