How to copy pictures on a Mac to a word document?
I am trying to copy pictures from the internet to a powerpoint/ word document on my mac. I have the new macbook pro, so the pad is one clicker. I have tried using both of my fingers and clicking Copy Image, using the top bar (edit, copy, paste), dragging the photo to the document, and saving it to my computer, but every time it just gives me the website of the picture in the document. What to I need to do to copy the image and put it in a document?
have both windows for word and your web browser open so you can see them. Click and hold on the web browser image. Drag it on top of your Word document (you should see a green (+) symbol appear, then drop it.
Note: to get a right click on a one button mouse or trackpad, hold Command/Apple key down as you do it.
Note 2: Current model Mac laptops can be set to use gestures that make it behave like a two button mouse/track pad. See the trackpad preferences panel to see how this works.
